Why I Do It
I have been raised in a family full of educators. My dad loves to teach, and so does my mom. My mother founded an education company called "zyBooks" that is now part of a bigger textbook company, "Wiley". She has dedicated much of her life to make teaching fun, accessible, and affordable. I have followed in a similar path, and I believe that the fun of learning should be the main thing taught to young students. That is why I created beatmath: to make learning fun.
Why It Works
Learning should be fun, and that is goal number 1 of HowToBeatMath. Goal number 2 is to actually learn, which should naturally follow goal number 1. Our video lessons are fun because... well, it sounds good. I mean who doesn't love music? I know that for me and many of my peers, music catches our attention. And paying attention is what allows you to learn. In addition, visual animations and catchy phrases have been shown to improve understanding. So what are you waiting for? Join our beatmath community.
